Programme
Enjoy life in an Irish family
This programme is aimed at students who want complete immersion in the Irish lifestyle. Even though the programme does not include formal language tuition, students will benefit from a complete language and cultural immersion by spending time with their Irish host families. The main objective of our Family Immersion Programme is to give students the opportunity to experience Irish customs, cuisine and lifestyle. During their stay students become a member of their host family and take part in their daily routine 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Course Dates and Availability
Our Family Immersion Programme is open all year round for individuals, and in June, July and August for groups of more than 10 students. Most students who take part in the programme go to Ireland for 4 weeks.

Our Family Immersion Programme includes:
Transfer Service
from Dublin airport
We pick up our students from the airport and take them straight to their homestay or residence.
Travel Insurance
for some extra peace of mind
Students can opt to take out their travel insurance with the Language Training Company.
24/7 Student Support

An exclusive line is available to all students - 24 hours as day, 7 days a week.

LTC offers full guardianship support so parents can rest assured students are being well looked after.
Full Board
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Students are offered breakfast, lunch and dinner during their stays. Packed lunches will be provided for school trips.
Social Activities
Days out, Culture and a lot of fun
Students will join their families in both their daily and weekend activities.
About Ireland
Bournemouth is located on the southern coast of England and enjoys a mild climate. With seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea, only a short walk from the school, this vibrant cosmopolitan town has it all. Bournemouth is famous for its entertainment venues, educational and sports facilities, and its restful atmosphere. Founded in 1800, the town has grown into a resort which is characterised by its wide, tree-lined avenues and pedestrian areas. Victorian architecture is complemented by beautiful gardens, modern stores, cafes, and eateries. Visitors are sure to enjoy loads of memorable experiences.
Host Families
Most of our Host Families have children of similar ages. They may live in a more rural or more central area the country. Irish families hosting our students are fully responsible for them, although our local coordinator and group leader are available 24 hours.
During the stay, the families organise recreational activities. There are occasions where students can share a family with a student from another nationality or even attend secondary school with the children from the family. We want our students to not only improve their English language skills but also live and breathe Irish culture.
The aim of this programme is to provide both European and Irish children with memories that they will cherish forever. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be immersed in the daily life of an Irish family in order to explore the English language, the knowledge, the culture and the love for this amazing country. Irish children will also benefit from so many values learnt through the experience of learning a new culture by hosting an international student with different customs and traditions.
